Plant charcoal is obtained from coconut shells heated at a very high temperature. This thermal shock in the presence of water vapour activates plant charcoal, increasing its porosity and therefore its adsorption capacity.
Charcoal helps to combat the phenomena of digestive discomfort (bloating and flatulence). Its adsorption capacity enables it to take up gases produced during digestion and enhance digestive comfort. It helps to reduce excess flatulence after a meal.
